A protagonist in major strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner for Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the HW & FW AIRBORNE SAFETY CRITICAL organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for an HW/FW Designer for our Caselle Torinese office.The person will mainly deal with the following activities:* Development of digital hardware/firmware in the context of safety-critical systems projects such as Flight Control Computers (FCC), Store Management Computers (SMC), and Radar Altimeters.**Education:*** Master's degree in Electronic Engineering**Seniority:*** **Junior**: 1-3 years of experience;
**Technical knowledge and skills:*** *Competence in designing analog/digital electronic boards with FPGAs, DSPs, and SoCs;
** *Knowledge of main communication protocols*: *SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, LVDS, MIPI.** *Design of electrical schematics with ECAD software;
** *Firmware Design (HDL);
** *Definition of electrical and thermal constraints for PCB design.** *Knowledge of standard HW/FW development cycles;
*The following skills are also required:* *Requirements analysis;
** *Drafting of HW/FW specifications;
** *Verification and Validation of the developed board;
** *Verification and Validation of the developed FPGA;
** *Creation of all documentation associated with the hardware/firmware development cycle;
** *Drafting of designdocumentation;
** *Drafting of associated documentation according to company regulations or international guidelines.***Behavioral skills**:* Proactivity;

* Problem-solving attitude;
