Company Overview SPACE INDUSTRIES S.p.A. is a fast‑growing aerospace company specialized in the assembly, integration and delivery of satellite systems and advanced space solutions. The Role The Program Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of assigned programs and acts as the main interface between customers and internal functions. The role ensures that contractual commitments and project objectives are translated into clear plans, priorities and measurable deliverables.

The Program Manager coordinates multidisciplinary teams through functional, non‑hierarchical leadership, promoting alignment, accountability and effective decision‑making across Engineering, Systems, AIT, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and support functions.

Requirements Key Responsibilities

Manage the full program lifecycle, from initial planning and launch through execution, delivery and closure

Define, maintain and control program schedules, milestones, budgets, costs, deliverables and performance indicators

Ensure on‑time, on‑cost and on‑quality delivery, maintaining alignment with contractual requirements and customer expectations

Act as the primary programmatic interface with customers and lead internal and customer‑facing program reviews

Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors and industrial partners through functional leadership

Manage program changes, risks and opportunities, defining mitigation, recovery and follow‑up actions

Ensure clear communication, ownership and alignment across all stakeholders involved in the program

Provide structured, data‑driven reporting to senior management and customers on progress, criticalities and decisions required

Support proposal and bid activities by contributing execution strategies, milestone plans, cost and schedule inputs, and risk assessments

Contribute to the continuous improvement of program management processes, tools and execution methods

Candidate Profile

Approximately 10 years of professional experience, including proven responsibility as Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, Project Manager or in an equivalent role within complex technical or industrial environments

Solid experience in project and program management, with direct responsibility for schedule and cost control, quality objectives, change management and risk management

Background in Space, Aerospace or Automotive. Strong profiles from other highly regulated or technologically complex sectors may also be considered

Experience managing customer relationships and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders

Degree in Engineering, Management, Economics or a related discipline; an engineering background is preferred

Good understanding of complex products, development processes and industrialization lifecycles. Knowledge of satellite systems or space standards is considered an advantage

Fluent English, both written and spoken

Key Competencies

Structured, analytical and solution‑oriented approach, with close attention to cost, schedule, quality and execution
