About the Role

The Project Control Manager leads the project control team and coordinates overall project control activities for projects of any size or complexity, including turnkey projects. The role requires full compliance with contractual requirements, company standard methodologies, quality standards, and directives from the Project Director/Manager.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, within their area of responsibility, and collaborate on defining the overall Project Execution Plan in partnership with the Project Director/Manager and key project personnel such as the Procurement Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Engineer Manager.
  2. Create and maintain project control procedures, guidelines, and standards in cooperation with and coordinating the Project Control Engineers (cost control, planning, and document control engineers).
  3. Coordinate the finalization and implementation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), involving Project Director/Manager and key personnel to ensure consistency and contractual compliance.
  4. Be proficient and autonomous in using and coordinating company tools such as Primavera P6, SAP, Primavera Schedule Risk Analysis, and Acumen Fuse.
  5. Coordinate the preparation of the Top-Down Schedule and detailed project schedules, involving key personnel as appropriate.
  6. Represent the Project Control activities to the Company, Client, and internal stakeholders as the single point of contact, alongside the Project Director/Manager.
  7. Lead the preparation of the Original Budget by coordinating Project Control resources and facilitating input from the Commercial Department.
  8. Evaluate scope changes, design modifications, and contract variances in terms of time and cost, supporting the Contract Manager in preparing Change Orders for the Client.

Qualifications

Personal Attributes: Experience in project control, including planning and cost control; willingness to travel short-term within Italy and abroad; openness to medium/long-term assignments abroad (e.g., jobsites, branches); fluent in English, both spoken and written.
