In this role you will oversee end‑to‑end solar project development to bring projects from land acquisition through Ready‑to‑Build, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely execution. You will collaborate with local authorities, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize layouts, manage permits and contracts, and monitor budgets. This position is integral to X-ELIO’s global renewable energy growth, offering impact through delivering scalable solar solutions. You will work in a dynamic team focused on efficient, compliant project delivery in a mission‑driven company.

• Oversee all development stages from land acquisition to Ready‑to‑Build status, ensuring regulatory compliance and timeliness
• Maintain relationships with authorities, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to enable smooth project execution and on‑time payments
• Optimize project layouts and coordinate with technical teams for cost‑effective designs and production efficiency
• Prepare and lead environmental and building permit applications, manage RFPs, and negotiate land, services, and interconnection contracts
• Monitor budgets, subcontractor performance, project schedules, and regulatory changes, providing status updates to stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in power/renewable energy development
• Knowledge of PV sector regulations and market policies
• Fluency in English; Italian language skills recommended but not required
• Experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
