As a Project Development Manager, you steer wind farm projects from early development to construction readiness. You collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver environmental, technical, and financial studies. You review EIA reports, authorization documentation, and feasibility work, while ensuring progress, budgets, and timelines. You lead permit submissions and stakeholder engagement, including public consultations, to secure regulatory approvals. This role sits at the heart of Vestas Development Europe, shaping the growth of renewable energy across the region.

• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders across environmental, technical, and financial studies
• Review EIA reports, Single Authorization documents, feasibility studies, and environmental due diligence
• Conduct site visits with consultants and SMEs to ensure progress and quality
• Manage project budgets and execution timelines
• Prepare and submit permit applications (EIA procedures, Single Authorization, PAUR) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage relationships with authorities and support stakeholder engagement and public consultations
• Collaborate with internal engineering, environmental, and financial teams to enable efficient delivery

Responsabilità

• Degree in a scientific or technical field (Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related); Bachelor’s acceptable
• Minimum 10 years of renewable project development experience (wind, solar PV, or other energy sectors)
• Solid project management experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal specialists
• Experience preparing and managing project budgets and timelines
• At least 1–2 years of GIS experience in a development context
• Advanced Italian language skills and English for internal documentation
• Experience interacting with external stakeholders and permitting processes
• Willingness to travel ~30% for site visits
