Our client is the Italian Branch of a European Multinational Company service provider for Renewable Assets , with a strong presence in the Solar Market , focusing mainly in the European market. To strengthen its structure while enhancing its presence in the Italian market, it has commissioned us to search for a:

PROJECT ENGINEER - PHOTOVOLTAIC

This full-time position calls for a talented Project Engineer to insert in the Projects division for carrying out engineering of photovoltaic power plants. This position foresees the support from Milan (Italy) administrative office to staff of all organizational level of functions involved in an exciting and ambitious growing environment.

Responsibilities

• To actively cooperate with Project Managers participating in the technical projects development from feasibility studies to commissioning, from site surveys to preliminary design, from bill of material to specific quotations, from project execution to supervision of EPC constructors
• To analyse the technical requirement of PV plants and to identify the most suitable solution for revamping and repowering project evaluating and selecting the new technology in order to maximize the production within the limit of Italian normative
• To provide detailed design and revise the electrical drawing package of projects (layouts and single line diagram including modules, inverters, wiring, protections, mounting system details, string boxes, BOM, etc.) from engineering to as‑built documentation following the information flow by Clients, Subcontractor and other internal business units
• To proactively lead the technical discussion at all organizational level

Requirements

• Graduate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of Italian electrical normative is a big advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical PV design including MT grid connection
• Advanced usage of CAD for power plant design activities. Knowledge of PVSyst is a plus
• Knowledge with PV system, KPIs and engineering economics, equipment and technologies
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills in Italian and English
• Strong organizational skills, ability to track and juggle multiple tasks with limited directives
• Proactivity and flexibility with horizontal interest for innovative solutions
• Project management interest, experience is an advantage
