DP World in Europe is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we are currently seeking Project Launch Managers to help deliver our new contract logistics warehouses across Europe.
We are looking for project managers with experience in contract logistics, especially in warehouse operations. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
How You Will Contribute
- Leading critical projects at a senior management level, including new business, expansion, and customer product launches.
- Acting as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing cross-functional teams across different countries.
- Overseeing project KPIs such as schedule, deliverables, and budget; providing status reports and risk assessments.
- Handling project budgets (CAPEX and launch costs) and implementing measures to control costs.
- Defining project scope, obtaining sign-off, and managing change processes.
- Presenting project updates to senior executives.
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
What You Will Bring
- Degree-level education or equivalent; project management certifications (PRINCE2, APMP, PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- 8+ years of experience in logistics or manufacturing, preferably with PMO or operations management background.
- Experience in leading end-to-end projects for new sites or geographic expansions.
- Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project or WRIKE.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch are a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments while maintaining enthusiasm and energy.
- Additional skills in Engineering or Six Sigma are a plus.
