Position: Project Management Engineer

Within the ENCAR Business Line, we are looking for a Project Management Engineer to be employed in Milan, within the On Shore Project Management department. The responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the Project Manager during project planning, including the preparation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and other project procedures and plans.
2. Supporting resource allocation and assessment of man-hours to prepare/update the Project Mobilization Plan (PMP).
3. Coordinating specific activities related to project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, whether at the office or site.
4. Preparing the Project External Interfaces Management Procedure and managing external project interfaces.
5. Developing the Project Risk Management Plan, managing risk assessments and responses, and updating the Project Risk Register regularly.
6. Managing the Vendor Assistance on Site Procedure, overseeing vendor interventions from notification to completion, monitoring costs, reviewing schedules, and reporting on activities.
7. Handling the Project Guarantee Claims Management Procedure with Vendors and Clients during the guarantee period, ensuring compliance and managing issues.
8. Supporting the management of back charges and change orders, as well as dispute resolution activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering Science.
• Professional qualification or Chartership (e.g., PMP, CIOB) is a plus.
• Knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).
• 2-4 years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects, large-scale projects, and experience with major clients.
• Exposure to design management, planning, contract management, or cost management in oil and gas or new energies projects.
• Experience working within global, multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrable project management skills and experience with related tools and techniques.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills; resourcefulness under pressure.

Location:

Milan Head Office. Strong foreign availability for short and long-term assignments.

Contract Type:

Permanent, with a salary package commensurate with experience.
