About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Client Engagement Manager to drive seamless collaboration between our organization and our valued clients. This role is primarily external client-facing and requires a strategic mindset to manage mid-to-long-term planning effectively. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling complex client communications, leading planning initiatives, managing project roadmaps, and ensuring smooth execution of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Communication & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external clients, fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Manage and streamline communication channels between clients and internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Address client concerns, provide solutions, and proactively identify opportunities for improving client satisfaction.

Strategic Planning & Workshop Facilitation:

  • Lead and facilitate planning or requirement workshops, ensuring alignment on project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, success criteria, and execution roadmaps.
  • Gather and analyze client requirements, translating them into actionable insights for internal teams.

Project & Product Planning:

  • Develop and maintain integrated project/product increment/release plans, incorporating dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment of delivery plans with business goals, addressing risks and mitigating roadblocks proactively.
  • Drive execution excellence by collaborating with project managers, product owners, and engineering teams.

Status Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Manage and oversee project status updates, ensuring timely reporting to clients on progress, risks, and key milestones.
  • Prepare and deliver structured reports, dashboards, and presentations that highlight performance metrics and insights.
  • Facilitate decision-making through data-driven reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Internal Operations & Reporting:

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal Ascendion reporting and operational activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide leadership with insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and drive strategic initiatives.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to operate with a long-term planning perspective and drive structured execution.
  • Project Management: Experience with Agile, SAFe, or other project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive data-backed decision-making.
