Job Title: Junior Project Manager (Intern)

Job Location: Milan, Rome (Italy)

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Project Manager and project team by driving efficient daily project operations and ensuring high-quality, on-time project delivery. This includes managing resource allocation, logistics, and subcontracting. A core responsibility is controlling the deployment and logistics of network components and materials (e.g., equipment, spare parts). You will also own stakeholder communication and provide effective, timely project reporting at all levels.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against the schedule, collect status updates from technical teams and subcontractors, and prepare accurate, timely reports for management and customer stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Control: Maintain a centralized repository of all project documents (plans, specifications, contracts), track Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices, and ensure compliance with Huawei's internal processes and quality standards.
  • Issue and Risk Management: Proactively monitor for potential project risks or issues, document all incidents, and support the Project Manager in escalating and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a key communication link between technical engineers, installation teams, vendors, and the customer to ensure all parties are aligned on project scope and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or management field, such as Civil Engineering, Management Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, graduating between January 2024 and December 2026.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability to work in an international business environment, demonstrating excellent collaboration skills and cultural awareness.
  • Good command of spoken English and fluent in Italian.
