Project Manager R&D

Overview

The candidate will work in close collaboration with the Head of PPMO, the Senior PMs, and other members of the PPMO team to manage R&D projects of varying complexity, from early stages (IND ready to Ph1-2) to later stages (Ph3 and beyond) of Clinical Drug Development and Lifecycle Management.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager, execute programs in line with predefined objectives, activities, budget, and schedule.
• Establish and maintain project documentation such as agendas, meeting minutes, Gantt charts, project trackers, stakeholder charts, risk management tools, and communication grids.
• Arrange and facilitate project meetings.
• Support and monitor the budgeting process and budget utilization.
• Track progress of activities and results, providing timely insights and reports.
• Identify potential issues and roadblocks, proposing contingency and mitigation plans for approval.
• Ensure project activities adhere to established R&D project governance.
• Provide regular updates to Senior Project Managers, promoting a professional and inclusive work environment.
• Facilitate seamless communication among stakeholders and empower asset development teams with necessary information.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in scientific disciplines, with experience in oncology development.
• Ability to manage and interpret data from various sources within clinical trials in Oncology.
• Understanding of clinical development processes across stages and Lifecycle Management.
• Preferred 5+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical R&D industry.
• Proven project management skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in a matrixed, geographically diverse environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Preferred project management certification and experience in broader enterprise or cross-division models.
