Experteer Overview
As Senior Subsea Trees Mechanical Engineer, you will steer the end-to-end design and delivery of subsea well systems, serving as a technical reference across the lifecycle. You’ll ensure compliant, robust, and cost-effective solutions while aligning with project goals. You’ll guide design reviews, verify specifications, and mentor junior engineers to deliver high-quality subsea components. This role sits at the intersection of advanced engineering and energy innovation in a global leader.

- Lead full design lifecycle of subsea tree components and systems from concept to installation
- Interpret specifications to deliver robust technical solutions
- Develop layouts, 3D models and drawings per company and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Define functional requirements, stack-ups, materials, and assembly procedures for manufacturability
- Own Bills of Materials and maintain data in PDM systems
- Plan and lead design reviews covering technical, materials, environmental, and safety aspects
- Perform design verification activities (tolerance analysis, reliability, DFM, engineering calculations)
- Support manufacturing, FAT/PVT testing, and field activities for product readiness
- Identify and implement product/process improvements for cost efficiencyEnsure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK, DNVGL standards and company procedures
- Mentor junior engineers, define work packages, and lead small teams to deliver commitments
Responsabilità
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Significant subsea or oil & gas mechanical design experience
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacture
- Proficiency in CAD (CREO) and PDM systems (Teamcenter/IPEM)
- Strong understanding of API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK, DNVGL standards
- Ability to lead technical activities and mentor engineers
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Fluent in English
