Responsibilities
The candidate reports directly to the COO and will be evaluated to perform both required tasks, even if he/she will be mainly employed for one of the two (the other if necessary):As PROPOSAL MANAGER, the candidate will have to handle the following activities:
• Coordination with the Area Manager to gather all necessary technical and commercial information to prepare the proposal;
• Plant capacity analysis (Product Sheet) and layout design of the proposed line, considering customer constraints, existing equipment, and required interfaces;
• Preliminary evaluation of utilities and foundations, when required;
• Request for quotations from suppliers, including all technical specifications needed for accurate assessment and pricing;
• Preparation of the price calculation sheet, based on supplier costs and internal pricing policies;
• Support in drafting the commercial offer / technical description;
• Management of offer revisions, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal guidelines;
As PROJECT MANAGER, the candidate will have to handle the following activities:
• Kick-off meeting to align all stakeholders and define project scope, timeline, and deliverables;
• Formal opening of the project, ensuring a smooth transition from the commercial phase to execution;
• Project planning and coordination between internal departments (sales, technical, purchasing, logistics, administration) and external stakeholders (suppliers, customers);
• Supervision of layout development, being anyway able to directly modify it if necessary
• Monitoring of customer payments, in accordance with contractual milestones;
• Procurement and production supervision and quality control at suppliers’ facilities;
• Management of extra costs, identifying causes and negotiating recovery when not attributable to the company;
• Supervision to the issuance of project documentation (FAT certificates, Shipping notices, Manuals and training certificates, Line acceptance certificates);
• Supervision to preparation of loading plans and packing lists, based on supplier data;
• Proper coding and archiving of all project documentation.
Your Profile
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or similar;• At least 5 years of experience in similar positions within structured industrial companies;
• Strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD;
• Previous experience with SAP is a plus;
• Italian and English fluency, both spoken and written;
• Availability for international travel (around 10% of working time);
• Ability to work well with others, solid analytical mindset and proactive attitude to solve problems.
