We are expanding our Purchasing Team in Italy and are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our 3-person team managing component procurement. This is a key role that sits at the intersection of purchasing and logistics — ideal for a proactive and experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Purchasing Specialist , your main responsibilities will include:

• Procuring mechanical and electronic components according to production needs and forecasts.
• Sending and managing purchase orders while maintaining accurate records.
• Following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and mitigate any supply chain risks.
• Negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and production to ensure material availability.
• Supporting inventory optimization by aligning purchasing with operational demand.
• Identifying and resolving delivery issues before they impact production.
• Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to manage purchasing workflows (experience is a plus).

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in purchasing, procurement , or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong negotiation skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change quickly.
• Fluent in Italian and English – both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; D365 experience is a strong plus .

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of logistics processes or previous involvement in cross-functional supply chain teams.
• Familiarity with component-based production environments (mechanical or electromechanical).
