Quality Automation Manager, UTR Tech in Last Mile – Amazon is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance leader to direct the activities of the existing quality team. This role involves building and leading a diverse team of QA engineers, solving technical problems, and developing and executing a roadmap of test frameworks and infrastructure. You will work with a variety of internal stakeholders at Amazon and with partners, drive the adoption of GenAI in the team, and automate the quality process using GenAI. You will influence roadmaps and technology decisions that will drive future products and features in this space. A successful candidate is a motivator and a seasoned leader who can hire high‑caliber engineers and collaborate across multiple organizations, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance (QA) leader, you will build and lead a diverse team of QA engineers to solve technical problems, develop and execute roadmap of test frameworks & infrastructure. You will be working with an assorted set of stakeholders, both internally at Amazon, and with some of our partners. You will drive the adoption of GenAI in the team and automate the quality process in the team using GenAI. You will influence the roadmap and technology decisions that will drive future products and features that directly affect our growth in this critical space. A successful candidate is a motivator and an experienced leader who can hire high‑caliber engineers and collaborate across multiple organizations, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• 3+ years of quality assurance teams management experience
• Experience managing manual testers
• Experience managing automation testers
• Experience testing web technologies and back‑end services
• Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
• Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
