Quality Control Analyst

We are excited to share a new opportunity for a QC Microbiologist at the Liofilchem HQ in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy.

This is a full-time position.

As a QC Microbiologist you will be at the heart of our quality function, ensuring the smooth daily operation of our microbiology lab.

This role is vital in upholding the safety and integrity of our products.

About Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Interpret and evaluate test results, making recommendations for improvements as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing procedures and results.
• Manage lab equipment, stock, and consumables.
• Keeping clean and calibrating equipment, materials and spaces.
• Assist with root cause analysis and out-of-specification investigations.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Support the introduction and validation of new methods and technologies.
• Communicate with team members and management to resolve any issues or concerns related to product quality.
• Mentor and train junior team members on testing techniques and procedures.

What we are looking for

• BSc in Biology or a science-based field.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
• Some or basic experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Familiarity with ISO13485, ISO 17025 or similar quality systems is desirable.
