Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and we are seeking a Quality Control Leader who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Energy Dome’s CO₂-based energy storage systems, based on CO₂ compression and liquefaction processes.

The role oversees inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities across critical equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, turbomachinery, electrical machines, electrical panels, pumps, and control systems.

This position plays a key role in guaranteeing that all components and systems meet design specifications, regulatory standards, and project requirements, supporting safe and reliable plant operation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the Quality Control team across supplier, manufacturing, assembly activities
  • Ensure quality compliance of CO₂ energy storage system components
  • Define and implement QC plans for critical equipment including: Heat exchangers, Pressure vessels, Valves, Gasometer, Turbomachinery (compressors, expanders), Electrical machines and electrical panels, Pumps and Control systems
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, PED, ISO, IEC)
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits, inspections, and non-conformance resolution
  • Analyze quality data (NCRs, defects, KPIs) and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Expediting, and Procurement teams to resolve technical quality issues
  • Support commissioning activities ensuring system-level quality and integration
  • Lead internal and external audits and support certification processes


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5–8+ years of experience in quality control/quality assurance in industrial or energy sectors
  • Strong experience with complex equipment such as pressure equipment, rotating machinery, and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with QMS (ISO 9001) and international standards (ASME, PED, IEC)
  • Proven experience managing suppliers and inspections in an international environment
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Italian native, proficient in English


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in power generation, chemical/process plant or EPC projects
  • Experience with ASME/PED stamp
  • Knowledge of welding, NDT, and pressure equipment certification
