Quality Control Manager

We are supporting an international pharmaceutical group in the search for a Quality Control Manager / Director for its Italian site (Northern Italy).

We are looking for an internationally minded professional who will take ownership of the Quality Control function , leading its development and management across all key areas, including chemical, microbiological, analytical and compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong leadership capabilities and a structured approach to building efficient, reliable and compliant QC processes.

This is a strategic role for a manager who is able to combine scientific and technical expertise with strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration and the ability to operate in an international environment .

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing, structuring and managing the Quality Control function
• Overseeing chemical, microbiological, validation and analytical QC activities
• Ensuring full compliance with applicable GMP and international regulatory requirements
• Leading, coaching and developing the QC team (significant number of FTEs)
• Supporting product development, technology transfer and manufacturing activities
• Driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and a strong quality culture
• Collaborating with internal and international stakeholders across the group
