Your Tasks & Responsibilities
The resource will join the Quality team of BU Life Science and will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of materials and production processes with company and regulatory standards. In particular, the role will involve performing quality controls on incoming components and materials (incoming checks), as well as managing the related documentation.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform quality control activities on incoming components and goods (incoming checks) with related reporting, collaborating with Logistics.
- Perform and document periodic checks on the production process through visual and/or instrumental inspections to ensure compliance with company manufacturing requirements and applicable regulatory quality standards, following the company Quality System procedures.
- Manage non-conformities detected on components and waste within incoming control or generated in production lines, contributing to analyzing causes and implementing containment, corrective and preventive actions.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of statistical principles, applied to quality control and data analysis.
- Ability to use the main measuring instruments for dimensional and functional inspection of components.
- Basic knowledge of metrology, including the concepts of calibration of measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), of the main regulations and standards applicable to equipment for the pharmaceutical industry, and of Data Integrity principles.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Good command of the English language.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Accuracy in report writing and ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
Required Experience
At least 1–2 years of experience in structured companies, preferably in the mechanical or medical/pharmaceutical sector.
Required Education
Technical high school diploma
