We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector Civil for our pipeline project in Italy.


The resource supervises civil quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) programs, conducting audits to verify compliance with systems, procedures, and client requirements.

He/She is responsible for on-site QA/QC activities, reviewing project plans and technical specifications, performing pre-inspections of installed materials, and carrying out final inspections with the client’s representative, in accordance with ITP procedures.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supervision and auditing of QA/QC programs to ensure compliance with quality systems, procedures, and client requirements
  • Review of construction plans and specifications to verify proper implementation and compliance on-site
  • Conduct pre-inspections to ensure installed materials meet applicable standards, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform inspections and tests as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
  • Monitor and inspect construction activities, including piling installations, to ensure correct location and bearing
  • Interpret design drawings to confirm installed works meet contract specifications
  • Prepare and submit QC reports to confirm completion of required quality control activities
  • Support the development of QC procedures and documentation in collaboration with the Construction QA/QC Manager
  • Ensure construction activities comply with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule and report deviations to management
  • Maintain continuous site surveillance to control construction quality and ensure adherence to QA/QC and HSE requirements


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other equivalent diploma and discipline
  • At least 4-5 years of related work experience in the field of quality assurance and quality control, including 3 years experience in quality management of construction projects
  • Previous experience on pipeline projects
  • Excellent knowledge of English
