Gabel is a leading producer of equipment for outdoor sports and medical devices, based in north Italy. Founded in 1956, it is constantly improving and developing the best possible product for outdoor enthusiasts and applying its advanced technologies on the Medical devices. Gabel is the designer and producer of the first digital pole in the world: the "e-poles".
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an impactful team driving innovation in the outdoor industry.
What you will do: You will carry out product development activities, functional tests, and assistance to testers and users of sports equipment with digital electronic technology governed by apps and software systems.
You will cooperate with research institutes, universities, and technical consultants in Italy and abroad for technological research, patent documentation, and regulatory areas, certifications for different countries.
How you will do: The office is at The Gabel Headquarters, in Rosà, Vicenza, where all the technical resources necessary for the activity are available, including the CAD workstation, the MATLAB calculation tools, and the test lab. Moreover, it will also be required to travel off-site both in Italy and abroad, for meetings with third parties collaborating with Gabel, demonstration events, test sessions, and trade fairs.
What you should have:
A technical degree, either in electronics, software, or mechanics.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
The ability to think and work creatively, collaboratively, and proactively.
Great personal attributes. You'll need to develop strong working relationships with people in different roles across the company network.
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in English and Italian.
Passion for sport and the outdoor (very appreciated).
Desired skills:
3D CAD software.
Calculation software (MATLAB).
Familiarity with the main programming languages and IoT.
Basic competence in the electronic field.
CAD designing competence.
APP confidence and knowledge.
Competence in other languages appreciated.
