R&D Mechatronic Test Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

There is a new opportunity within our Research & Development team.

We are looking for an R&D Mechatronic Test Engineer — a passionate person with a strong interest in technology and mechatronics, experienced in CAD design and laboratory testing.

The selected candidate will be involved in the development and validation of components and systems, actively supporting testing activities on electrical and hydraulic components, as well as on the assembly of coffee machines.

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Designing and developing mechatronic components and systems, including prototypes, using CAD software;
• Conducting electromechanical and hydraulic tests using electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic instruments;
• Preparing test setups (basic electrical and hydraulic circuits, use of actuators), with the ability to read technical schematics;
• Performing assembly tests and verifying product functionality;
• Interpreting test results, analyzing data, and drafting technical reports.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (or a related field), or a technical diploma in mechanics, electronics, electrotechnics, or mechatronics with proven experience in a similar role;
• Familiarity with industrial machinery and testing/validation processes;
• Solid experience in CAD design and technical drafting;
• Basic knowledge of technical documentation management and the ability to read technical datasheets for materials and components;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Autonomy in managing mid-term projects (3–6 months) and a collaborative mindset for teamwork;
• Active collaboration with the product development team to improve the reliability and performance of coffee machines.
• Good knowledge of Italian (C1);

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector;
• Knowledge of main certification standards, particularly IEC 60335-1 and related parts;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
