We are looking for a Project Manager with a software or systems background to join the R&D department in Bologna.
The role involves leading cross-functional and international teams and managing R&D projects from concept to start of production, ensuring alignment with time, quality, scope, and cost targets in accordance with Toyota processes.
Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent
~2 years of experience in Project Management, software R&D environments is a plus
~ Experience with software development lifecycle (Agile or hybrid models)
~ Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2) are a plus
~ Proficient in using Git and DevOps, to maintain stable, collaborative, and efficient R&D codebases is a plus
~ Fluent in English
~ Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
~ Lead R&D projects
Coordinate the work of R&D teams (software, electronic, mechanic) with other corporate functions throughout the project development process.
Plan, monitor, and report project activities and milestones
Ensure alignment with Toyota New Product Development processes
Support continuous improvement of project management practices
Support and apply Toyota R&D practices
Work in close and continuous collaboration with Research teams
Manage projects according to the Toyota New Product Development process
Gain a broad overview of company departments and R&D activitie s
