WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :


For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a REACH/IMDS Compliance Officer


Role Objective

Ensure the environmental compliance of supplied components and materials by managing, compiling, and updating REACH and IMDS declarations in accordance with current automotive industry regulations. Interface with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the accuracy and traceability of required information.


Main Responsibilities

  • Compile and manage IMDS (International Material Data System) declarations for components intended for automotive customers.
  • Ensure compliance with REACH regulations (EC Regulation 1907/2006).
  • Keep data on restricted substances up to date by monitoring regulatory changes (e.g., SVHC).
  • Collect and validate compliance declarations from suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the technical department for material analysis and substance classification.
  • Support the supply chain in communicating with customers regarding environmental practices.
  • Independently manage the IMDS portal, including code creation.
  • Provide internal training and technical support on environmental compliance.


Required Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or degree (preferably in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar).
  • Basic experience in compiling and managing IMDS and REACH documentation in the automotive field.
  • Excellent knowledge of REACH and RoHS regulations.
  • Operational knowledge of the IMDS platform.
  • Good understanding of technical drawings and materials used in mechanical/plastic components.
  • Strong command of Office software (especially Excel) and enterprise management systems.
