This role has been created to maximize Market Access to the Regeneron Oncology portfolio by building and developing relationships with key stakeholders and payers in your assigned territory.

As Regional Access Manager, you will be within the International Market Access team and will report to the Italy Market Access Director. Your mission will be to develop the best strategies that guarantee access and improve the market positioning of Regeneron products in the geographical area of responsibility. You will be working closely with our Italy Market Access, Commercial and Medical teams to implement the national strategy, in order to get our products to the greatest number of patients possible and improve their quality of life.

JOB DUTIES

  • Play a crucial role in mapping and segmenting stakeholders and payers at both regional and local levels
  • Identify relevant themes for each stakeholder and payer, and tailor proposals ( e.g., value dossiers) to meet their specific needs
  • Convey the value proposition of our products
  • Utilize Health Economics and Outcomes Research data to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness and budget impact of our products
  • Build strong and credible partnerships with payers and stakeholders at the local and regional levels
  • Manage the entire access process, including tender process, at regional and local level
  • Lead the regional and local negotiations, in coordination with the Italy National Market Access team and global teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Italy local teams, Global Market Access and Pricing, HEOR, etc.) to ensure flawless execution of access solutions
  • Conduct monitoring and marketing intelligence activities to stay informed about market trends and opportunities, helping different functions in taking decisions
  • Develop tender strategy, prepare tender submission materials, work with Italy Market Access team, and global access and pricing teams to develop tender price strategy, and manage administrative tasks for tender submission/bidding
  • Design regional and local plans to access the current and future portfolio, in coordination with the Italy national team and global teams, based on the regional and local needs and aligned with our Brand Plan strategies
  • Support and provide input to new indication or new product launches, assess potential and payer value story, regulatory and label considerations
  • Guarantee that all activities comply with external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and code of conduct)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required

  • Experience in a Market Access role in the Pharma sector in multi-disciplinary, matrix and global context
  • Experience and familiarity with the Italy market, regional and local landscape
  • Experience in delivering HTA submissions and conduct pricing negotiations
  • Strong experience devising and implementing market access strategies and achieving exceptional results for product
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering compelling value propositions and access strategies
  • Evidenced success in driving price execution to deliver optimal commercial return
  • Proficiency in utilizing clinical and economic data to showcase the value of our products is highly desirable
  • Strong ability to work on cross-functional projects

Preferred

  • Post-graduate qualification such as MBA and/or MSc or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Experience in regional /field access, including tender management
  • Experience of Oncology/Hematology Therapeutic Areas and good scientific awareness relative to drug development
  • Working in an international context, with experience with the Italy market, regional and local landscape
  • Strong knowledge of national, regional and hospital health regulations
