About the role
Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value‑chain and industrial sector. The Regional Commercial Operation Sales Specialist plays an essential role within the Gas Technology Equipment (GTE) Industrial & Energy Technology organization on the region's go-to-market strategy. This person leads the assigned Region in the Commercial Operations organization and reports directly to the IET Installation Commercial Leader.
Responsibilities
- Providing overall leadership to the Assigned Region ensuring a common vision and unified operating rhythm.
- Supporting the sales team to meet orders goals for the region and by market segment.
- Overall project proposal strategy.
- Achieving financial and operational targets.
- Supporting the Sales Force in developing/assessing with Customers.
- Identifying with Application Engineering Team the best solutions to meet Customers' “Critical to Quality” (CTQs).
- Preparing commercial proposals, guarantee Quality completeness, and Time responsiveness.
- Driving the internal discussion to make the best call for the Company in terms of risks, costs and profit.
- Leading contract negotiation and coordinate Functions (Execution, Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Technical Assistance, Sales Force, P&Ls) during proposal preparation and follow‑up.
- Promoting additional business opportunities with existing and new Customers partnering with the Sales team.
Qualifications
- Have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have commercial or sales experience in the Oil & Gas.
- Have in‑depth knowledge of Oil & Gas and IET markets and customers.
- Be a team player.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have knowledge of additional language as a plus.
- Six Sigma proficiency.
- Be a former application Engineer for installation.
