Regional Procurement Transformation Lead

Location – Northern Italy

Are you an expert procurement leader with a passion for driving change and building best-in-class functions? Do you thrive in dynamic, international environments?

We're seeking an exceptional Regional Procurement Transformation Lead to join a global client in a newly created position based in Northern Italy. This pivotal role will see you spearheading a significant transformation across a diverse procurement landscape spanning Italy and the rapidly evolving, high-growth markets of Eastern Europe.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and inspire a team of 6 direct reports, overseeing an annual spend of €200M-€250M in indirect services.
  • Architect and implement a "best-in-class" procurement approach, standardizing processes, tools, policies, compliance, and sourcing strategies across multiple countries.
  • Bring critical structure and consistency to procurement across a region that includes fast-growing Eastern European markets. This will involve a strong focus on enhancing compliance and building robust, resilient sourcing processes to mitigate potential risks inherent in rapidly expanding environments.
  • Drive operational excellence and consistency in a currently fragmented regional procurement function.
  • Redefine the procurement roadmap, ensuring harmonized practices and tangible improvements.
  • Engage extensively with senior stakeholders, including the Group CPO and regional executive leadership teams, with high visibility for your impactful work.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven, recent experience leading similar large-scale procurement transformation projects with demonstrable results and achievements.
  • A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of procurement best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and driving change across diverse cultures.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international setting, with 4 days per week on-site and regular travel across Europe.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; additional European languages are beneficial

What We Offer:

This is a Dirigente-level role in Italy, offering a competitive base salary along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a company car, pension, bonus, and more.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact within a leading organization. If you're ready to rebuild and redefine regional procurement, we want to hear from you.
