We're seeking a strong Regional Vice President of Sales to quickly learn our platform and help us build a strong sales force in the Italy region .

The role of the VP of Sales is to understand our current book of business and to prospect new business into new logo targets where MT Newswires does not have any business today.

This means the VP of Sales is responsible for the relationships within a defined territory and will have to collaborate with the EMEA Sales Team on renewals and new sales. You will have a passion for creating and maintaining high levels of activity, opening new doors, earning clients' trust, and closing business.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Producing new streams of MT Newswires revenue through sales of products and services which address financial firms' needs.
  2. Completing market analysis to identify potential target organizations, roles, and individuals to prospect. Developing a plan to grow your territory by understanding the complete suite of MT Newswires products and taking them to market.
  3. Retaining MT Newswires contract revenue within your customer base and ensuring products and services meet customer needs.
  4. Maintaining good levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and building working relationships with each customer.
  5. Managing all account renewals, initiating communication at the right time, and fulfilling contractual obligations.
  6. Handling all aspects of account management, including understanding clients' businesses, resolving issues promptly, and understanding competitors' solutions.
  7. Working on retention plans for selected customers with the extended sales team.
  8. Maintaining accurate client records within the global Hubspot CRM system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales success in financial media or data sales.
  • Proven experience managing medium-large global accounts involving complex solutions.
  • A deep sense of professional accountability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Adaptability in communication style, with a professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and benefit the business.
  • High initiative, self-motivation, and critical thinking.
  • Good business awareness to build credibility, identify opportunities, and articulate benefits.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Hubspot CRM.

Salary: Up to €200,000.00 per year
