Reliability & Test Engineer – Powertrain Systems

Ankers is looking for a Reliability & Test Engineer to support the validation and development of innovative and sustainable Diesel and Natural Gas engines for On-Road and Off-Road applications.
Working within a cross-functional and collaborative team, the selected candidate will be responsible for executing functional and endurance tests, performing data analysis, and coordinating component tear-down investigations at the end of testing.
This role plays a key part in ensuring engine durability, performance compliance, and supporting root cause analysis when issues arise.
Key Duties:
- Execute functional and endurance test activities on engine test benches.
- Monitor and analyze test data; track and update key engine parameters.
- Coordinate and conduct engine tear-downs and component inspections at the end of test.
- Liaise with laboratories and suppliers for deeper technical evaluations.
- Compile detailed technical reports on test activities, results, and validations.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and root cause analysis processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Sound knowledge of Diesel and Natural Gas engine systems
- Familiarity with test tools such as INCA, Concerto, MDA
- Understanding of ECU Software (both specified and non-specified functions)
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Good command of English (B2) – both written and spoken
- Structured, analytical, and systematic approach to work
- Strong team player, proactive, communicative, and highly motivated
- Flexible and reliable in delivering assigned tasks
