Kelag International Udine S.r.l. is the international business unit of the Kelag Group, one of Austria’s leading energy companies with over a century of experience and a strong commitment to a future powered entirely by renewable energy. We develop, operate and manage renewable energy assets — including wind, solar and hydropower — across 14 European markets.
As we continue to expand our project pipeline, we are looking to grow our team in Italy with a skilled Project Manager who will drive the successful delivery of renewable energy projects from planning through commissioning.
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering renewable energy projects, including wind, solar and hydropower plants, from development through execution and handover.
Your responsibilities:
- Planning, organisation and management of investment projects in the field of renewable energy in Italy
- Preparation, review, analysis and coordination of technical, project and investment documentation, as well as participation in obtaining all required permits and approvals
- End-to-end management of project processes, from the development phase and investment decision-making through to execution and handover to operations
- Leadership, coordination and supervision of project teams, including effective allocation of tasks and responsibilities
- Organisation and coordination of external contractors, including oversight of timelines, costs and quality of delivery
- Close collaboration with other departments and companies across the wider division
- Ensuring the quality of execution in line with technical standards, project requirements and best practices
- Ensuring project compliance with applicable legislation, regulations and internal standards
Your key attributes and qualifications:
- Degree in civil engineering or another relevant technical field
- Experience in managing complex and financially significant projects in an international environment
- Willingness to work on site and experience in operational project monitoring across multiple locations
- Knowledge of the renewable energy sector; experience with solar power plants is considered an advantage
- Proven experience in leading, coordinating and organising diverse project and execution teams
- A high level of responsibility, reliability and strong work ethic
- A proactive, self-driven and independent approach to work and decision-making
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and Italian languages
