What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Research Laboratory Engineer with a technical background in mechanical engineering and/or materials to join the ATLAs research laboratory at our Villanova di San Daniele site. The candidate will focus on developing innovative protocols and testing methods for the mechanical performance of implantable prosthetic materials and devices.
Responsabilità
- Guide assigned research projects, from collecting inputs to planning and executing test activities.
- Analyze data and prepare final documentation.
- Propose, study and develop new protocols, equipment and testing procedures.
- Identify state‑of‑the‑art in vitro testing for prosthetic devices and materials.
- Participate actively in ASTM and ISO work groups.
- Engage in product development teams.
- Interact proactively with clients and laboratory stakeholders.
Requisiti
- Master’s degree in a technical field, preferably mechanical/materials.
- Excellent written and spoken English (at least B2).
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite.
- Strong technical drawing and finite‑element analysis skills.
- Knowledge of statistical software and/or MATLAB and/or Python.
- Team‑working ability.
- Proactivity, precision and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a mechanical laboratory is a plus.
