Job Title: Reservations manager – Luxury hotel
Location: Venice
Salary: €2,800 net per month
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the reservations department across all booking channels. Drive occupancy, revenue optimisation, and yield performance in collaboration with Revenue Management. Manage room inventory, availability, pricing controls, and allocation strategies. Handle VIP reservations, luxury leisure bookings, and complex group enquiries. Ensure a flawless and consistent guest booking experience across all touchpoints. Maintain accuracy and integrity of PMS/CRS systems and distribution platforms. Collaborate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to align commercial strategy. Lead, train, and develop the reservations team to deliver exceptional service standards. Monitor booking patterns, demand trends, and provide actionable performance insights. Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic occupancy planning.
Requirements
Proven experience in a reservations or front office leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort. Strong knowledge of PMS/CRS systems and hospitality distribution channels. Solid understanding of revenue management principles and luxury guest expectations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams. Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail. Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑volume luxury environment. Experience handling VIP clientele, high‑value bookings, and complex itineraries. Fluent in English; additional languages are highly desirable. A refined, guest‑centric mindset with a passion for luxury hospitality.
