We are looking for a deeply knowledgeable and inspiring herbalist to join our world at Borgo Santo Pietro.

This is a rare opportunity for someone passionate about medicinal plants, traditional healing wisdom, botanical rituals, and the connection between nature, wellbeing, and hospitality.

The role combines hands-on herbal medicine making, education, guest experiences, and collaboration with our culinary, spa, garden, and fermentation teams to help shape a living botanical philosophy across Borgo.

We are searching for someone who:

• Has a deep understanding of medicinal herbs, plant energetics, extractions, tinctures, teas, oils, hydrosols, and natural remedies
• Understands both traditional herbal wisdom and modern wellness approaches
• Feels inspired by gardens, biodiversity, foraging, and seasonal living
• Can create meaningful guest experiences and teach with warmth, depth, and authenticity
• Has a natural aesthetic sensibility and appreciation for beauty, ritual, and craftsmanship

The role may include:

• Creating herbal remedies, tinctures, botanical preparations, teas, and wellness rituals
• Working closely with our gardens and estate to identify and cultivate medicinal plants
• Collaborating with our spa, chefs, and fermentation team on botanical projects and seasonal concepts
• Leading workshops, walks, and intimate educational experiences for guests
• Helping develop Borgo’s herbal philosophy and botanical wellness offerings
• Exploring ancient Tuscan, Mediterranean, and global herbal traditions in a contemporary and refined way

This is not a conventional wellness role.
