Our client is hiring a Restaurant Manager to take full responsibility for daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure the highest standards of food, service, and team performance are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations, including service flow, staffing, and guest experience.
- Plan, lead, and execute daily briefings, service strategies, and team schedules.
- Maintain operational excellence and implement SOPs to ensure service consistency.
- Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
- Manage restaurant budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Analyze KPIs and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce overhead.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate closely with Head Chef and Bar Manager to enhance service flow and menu quality.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, licensing, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Foster relationships with VIP guests and regular clientele.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to maintain high service standards.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred,Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Restaurant Management, or Culinary Arts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in fine dining.
- Strong leadership abilities and proven team management experience.
- Excellent organizational, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of restaurant operations and guest service standards.
- Proficient in POS systems (Micros preferred), Excel, Word, Pascal, and reservation software (SevenRooms, OpenTable).
- Proficiency in Italian cuisines is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Health & Safety and Hygiene Certification required.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
