Join Our Team at Xerjoff – Seeking a Retail & Commercial Area Manager – UK Market


Xerjoff is a Turin-based luxury niche fragrance house, internationally recognized as a leading name in high-end perfumery. As we continue to expand globally, we are strengthening our presence in the UK, one of our most strategic markets.

We are seeking an experienced Retail & Commercial Area Manager – UK Market to drive commercial performance and oversee the development of our business across the UK. We are looking for a commercially minded professional with international experience, a strong understanding of export and wholesale dynamics, and solid knowledge of the UK luxury retail landscape.

The successful candidate will manage key retail and wholesale partnerships, drive sell-out performance, and ensure brand excellence across all points of sale, acting as Xerjoff’s ambassador in the market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own commercial performance across the UK market, managing relationships with department store buyers, wholesale accounts, and retail partners
  • Develop and execute market-specific strategies to grow brand presence and drive sell-out
  • Oversee export operations related to the UK, coordinating with HQ on orders, allocations, and logistics
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions through a structured, data-driven approach
  • Ensure brand standards and customer experience benchmarks are consistently upheld
  • Coordinate staff training and support the execution of events and brand activations
  • Provide regular market reporting and strategic feedback to senior leadership


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in international commercial, export management, or cross-border area management roles — luxury, niche fragrance, premium beauty, or fashion experience preferred
  • Proven experience within the UK luxury retail landscape (Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, or similar)
  • Strong command of wholesale dynamics, sell-in/sell-out management, and retail KPIs
  • Independent, accountable, and comfortable operating remotely from HQ
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior retail stakeholders
  • Fluent English is essential; Italian is a plus
  • Frequent travel to the UK is required

Candidates without international or export experience will not be considered.


Location: Based in Pianezza, Italy, with frequent business travel to the UK.


As Area Manager UK, you will contribute directly to maintaining and strengthening Xerjoff's luxury retail excellence in one of its most strategic international markets.
