Who are we looking for
We are looking for a Retail Manager to lead our stores, deliver the vision and strategy for our retail stores across Italy, Spain and Portugal; developing digitally enabled stores in the path of the consumer, growing member engagement and purchase frequency to drive growth in physical and digital retail!
What you will work on
- Review, prepare & support implementing weekly store portfolio performances based on results and take appropriate action plans according to Converse DTC strategy (inclusive of staffing, assortment, consumer journeys & store environment)
- Travel and implement store & market visits based on Converse DTC Strategy
- Lead openings, closures, pop-up events or refits within your region
- Support your Store teams in all questions of trade & business, leadership, digital transformation, HR and all operational topics.
- Partner with relevant collaborators at Converse Stores team across Store Operations, GMM, Finance & Digital teams to implement the Factory Stores in the WE marketplace
Who you work with
The Retail Manager will partner with the GMM (Ops & Planning), COPS, and other functional leadership in GMM, Real Estate, Construction, and Digital teams. Will lead the Store Managers team of 10-12 relevant stores, reporting directly to the Director of Stores & Operations.
What you bring to Nike
- RETAIL - Proven Senior Retail Expertise, either through leading a portfolio of stores, or multi-store project implementation or single retail site leadership of a small / medium-scale retail store with medium complexity and volume
- LEADERSHIP - Strong people leadership experience - leading, inspiring and directing teams (leadership development, employee relations, loss prevention, sickness/overtime, engagement, and creating a team spirit) in the Southern WE retail labor market
- DIGITAL - Experience with implementing a digital strategy into a physical store and exhibiting a digital leadership approach and attitude (engaging new members, encouraging app downloads, and integrating digital processes into the store setting)
- CRITICAL THINKING - Demonstrated success in leading and delivering pivotal initiatives aligned with future marketplace development
- MANAGEMENT - Multi-site retail leadership, including managing a broad portfolio of physical stores & digital retail
