Revenue Cycle Specialist Front-End

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Team Leader, handle patient registration, insurance verification, pre-registration, and point of service collections.

Ensure accurate patient data and educate patients on financial responsibilities.

Provide financial counseling referrals and Medicare compliance (IM and MOON forms).

Manage valuables and coordinate morgue logistics.

Deliver customer service, regulatory compliance, and collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams.

Provide onsite coverage at public arrival desks and the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

Completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training; Associate’s Degree preferred.

Medical Terminology Certificate preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer skills including medical-based programs.

Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other software programs preferred.

Over three years of related health care experience, including work with third‑party payers, preferred.

CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manage) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) encouraged.

Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or exempt, with written statement.
