About the Role


Within the commercial team of Arsenale, the Capacity Control and Revenue Coordinator develops and implements the Luxury Train revenue management strategy on the day-to-day, making pricing decisions on the routes he is accountable for and then having a direct impact on the top line of the business.

The Capacity Control and Revenue Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing revenue strategies and pricing decisions that directly affect the business's financial performance.



Responsibilities


  • Effective communication to launch in the market all rates and offers as per industrial plan and timetables
  • Optimizing pricing strategies through the definition and management of all rates, rate levels, terms and conditions, and other tactics to reflect demand and other market conditions.
  • Overall vision of Benchmark and past performance (Revenue, Occupancy rate, market shares & rationale behind) and future trends
  • Working with Sales and Reservations Teams to encourage strategic selection of the right pieces of business
  • Establishing appropriate booking procedures by setting availability and capacity controls.
  • Support in budget/forecast and sales & marketing plans definition
  • Support in timetable definition
  • Sales promotion initiatives implementation
  • Implementation of adapted human resources, processes, training, methods, and tools in Revenue Management, Pricing, Reservation, and Distribution
  • Lead RM weekly/monthly meetings with Sales, Marketing, and GM
  • Ensure that the collection of the data is realized in good quality for CRS, PMS, and RMS (both historical and portfolio data)


Qualifications


  • Min 4-5 years of work experience in Revenue management / Pricing
  • Proximity with the Operations team, Excellent understanding of travel/train/hotel needs, and how to drive topline
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Required tech skills for the role:
    Microsoft Office, worked with RMS/inventory system, database understanding
  • Hands-on approach
  • Language:
    English (proficient), French is a plus
