As a Researcher , the candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of experimental and process development campaigns in a chemical facility . Working closely with R&D and Operations teams, the role ensures that research activities are effectively scaled up and integrated with industrial practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and execution of pilot-scale process development campaigns , identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate tests and trials, considering resource availability, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor plant activities and experiments, analyze process data, and share insights regularly with project and local teams.
  • Provide technical support to operational teams during unusual or critical process situations.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to provide clear feedback to the research function.
  • Promote continuous improvement based on technical observations in the field to improve process reliability and efficiency.
  • Support the planning and execution of extrusion and homogenization activities , as well as material shipments.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and management of customer complaints.
  • Conduct routine plant audits to assess performance and enhance technical understanding of installed technologies.
  • Collaborate on procurement tasks, ensuring the availability of raw materials and consumables.
  • Contribute to the development and training of personnel, promoting standard practices and knowledge sharing.

About the Role

A degree in Chemistry , Industrial Chemistry , or Chemical Engineering is required.

An excellent command of both spoken and written English is essential.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A specialization (Master’s or PhD) in Polymer Science or related fields
  • Prior experience in the polymer or chemical processing industry
  • Proficiency in Power BI and AutoCAD
