For our client, a multinational company active in the design and production of electric motors, drives, generators, and motion control systems, we are looking for a Sales Engineer - Drives (m/f) who will be responsible for the North‑East of Italy.
Responsibilities
Identify and analyse the needs of customers or prospects in order to present the full range of products and services offered by the company (products, equipment, installations, services and solutions).
Design and develop technical and financial solutions through proposal, quotation, preliminary design and design phases negotiated with the customer with a view to establishing a contract.
Coordinate performance of the contract, including research and development, production, logistics and any necessary adjustments.
Contribute to defining the sales and marketing strategy in the field of activity. Monitor competition in the market and keep abreast of changes in the environment.
Ensure the profitability of his/her area of responsibility, oversee margins and production costs, as well as the growth and development of his/her customer portfolio.
Qualifications
Electrical Engineer in Automation plus experience in commercial negotiations and the sale of technical products.
Knowledge of marketing, management and commercial law (price regulation).
Solid understanding of the field of activity and knowledge of the market.
Familiarity with the requirements of professionals in relation to drive systems and their end customers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as analytical and summarizing skills.
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team.
Use of integrated management software.
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Good command of English.
Place of residence in the Veneto region.
