About the role
Own the full sales cycle and build lasting relationships in one of Europe’s most dynamic marine markets. Drive our marine business in Italy by hunting for new business, maintaining strategic accounts, and directly influencing our growth.
Responsibilities
Hunt and close new business across the Italian marine sector: cruise ships, commercial vessels, naval applications, offshore support vessels. Own strategic accounts from first conversation through contract signature and beyond. Travel frequently to shipyards and customer sites across Italy, and occasionally internationally. Collaborate closely with the Italian Sales Team Lead, two Customer Service Representatives, and the local engineering team. Partner with international engineering teams from the Netherlands, Germany and the UK for complex projects.
Qualifications
Experience in technical sales with at least 3 years in the field and a preference for cold selling background. Proven ability to qualify opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals independently. Understanding of control systems for engines, generators, power management systems, and ship automation. Bilingual Italian/English with strong communication skills in both languages. Strong relationship‑building skills with chief engineers and technical managers.
