About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Sales Manager to lead our specialized Zipper. This role is designed for a strategic professional with deep roots in the luxury fashion, haute couture, or high end outdoor & sportswear supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in selling high-end zippers, a proven network of contacts within above-mentioned sectors, and a demonstrated ability to build and mentor a high-performing sales team. Your mission will be to drive growth by positioning our products as the premier choice for high-end manufacturers. 


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate and expand our market share within the luxury goods sector.
  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities with leading luxury fashion houses, leather goods manufacturers, and premium accessory brands.
  • Leverage your existing luxury industry resources to schedule meetings with key decision-makers (e.g., Head of Procurement, Product Developers, Designers).
  • Understand clients' creative and technical needs, providing tailored solutions using our range of high-quality zippers.
  • Articulate the unique value proposition of our tape-free system and how it reconstructs the connection between garment and fastener.


2. Team Building & Leadership:

  • Take ownership of building, recruiting, and training a new specialist sales team from the ground up.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Foster a culture of technical expertise, exceptional customer service, and deep market knowledge.
  • Define clear sales processes, performance metrics (KPIs), and career development paths for team members.


3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the senior point of contact for key strategic accounts, ensuring an unparalleled level of service.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients, becoming a valued partner in their product development process.
  • Address and resolve any client issues promptly and professionally, ensuring total satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (R&D, Design, Production) to relay client feedback and drive product innovation.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, educating clients on how NOTAPE™ enables seamless integration and new possibilities in design.


4. Market Intelligence & Performance:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor activity, market trends, and new material/technology developments in luxury goods.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management. Represent the company at international trade fairs and industry events.


Qualifications & Requirements


Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of direct B2B sales experience, specifically in selling zippers to the luxury industry.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, building, and leading a successful sales team is essential.
  • A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive, high-value market.


Industry Network :

  • Must possess an active and relevant network of contacts within the luxury sector (e.g., at brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Hermès, or similar high-end manufacturers).


Technical & Commercial Skills :

  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of zippers (materials, finishes, functionality) and their application in luxury products.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and creative stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and the MS Office Suite.
