Job Description:
Objectives:
- Responsible for negotiating with previously defined customers and prospecting for new customers in Italy, in close collaboration with the company’s management.
- Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
- Deliver offers / quotes to existing and prospective customers.
- Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
- Define the sales strategy for the company's products to its customers.
- Gather all necessary information for preparing sale contracts.
- Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
- Identify new business opportunities, especially related to replacing Polyamide compounds.
- Negotiate sale terms with management approval.
- Manage and record customer rates.
- Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
- Build and maintain customer relationships for long-term engagement.
- Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes with customers.
- Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
- Serve as an interface between customers and internal departments including management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
- Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
- Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during meetings.
Your profile:
- Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of company products and technical capabilities.
- Experience in the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding, with successful account management.
- Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
- Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and levels.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with proactive attitude.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
