Job Description:

Objectives:

  • Responsible for negotiating with previously defined customers and prospecting for new customers in Italy, in close collaboration with the company’s management.
  • Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
  • Deliver offers / quotes to existing and prospective customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director Europe.

Main Activities:

  • Define the sales strategy for the company's products to its customers.
  • Gather all necessary information for preparing sale contracts.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, especially related to replacing Polyamide compounds.
  • Negotiate sale terms with management approval.
  • Manage and record customer rates.
  • Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships for long-term engagement.
  • Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes with customers.
  • Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
  • Serve as an interface between customers and internal departments including management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
  • Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
  • Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during meetings.

Your profile:

  • Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of company products and technical capabilities.
  • Experience in the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding, with successful account management.
  • Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
  • Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and levels.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with proactive attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
