Role Overview team.blue Italy is seeking a Sales Manager with strong analytical, strategic planning, and people leadership capabilities to lead the SMB and Partners business unit. This role will be responsible for driving commercial growth, sales execution, and team performance, developing a customer‑centric operating model that delivers predictable and sustainable results. A key mission of this role is to ensure that sales teams consistently follow the correct discipline of selling and service delivery, applying structured processes, proven methodologies, and modern tools to achieve ambitious growth and retention targets. Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Performance

Define and execute a sales strategy aligned with business priorities and market trends Monitor sales results and funnels to identify growth levers and improvement areas Report KPIs across sales, and customer success to enable data‑driven decisions Ensure alignment between sales teams and product launches, fostering cross‑sell and upsell opportunities

Organization & Process

Structure the sales organization with clear roles (hunters, farmers, hybrids) and balanced account allocation Establish an operational rhythm: pipeline reviews, deal inspections, and monthly business reviews Drive disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting

People Leadership

Build and develop high‑performing teams through ongoing coaching and skill development Drive sales enablement initiatives by equipping teams with the right methodologies Playbooks, training programs, and tools to continuously improve commercial effectiveness and accelerate onboarding Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales and support talent Promote a culture of accountability and continuous learning

Customer Success & Support

Ensure collaboration between sales and support, balancing service quality (CSAT, FCR) with commercial goals (upsell, expansion) Monitor customer health metrics and act to prevent churn

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion rates Partner with Product to share customer insights and ensure successful launches Coordinate with Operations to guarantee CRM hygiene and data accuracy

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Champion AI and sales technology tools to improve productivity and forecasting accuracy Simplify incentive plans and align them with company goals and desired behaviors Design and continuously optimize HubSpot workflows to improve lead generation Qualification, routing, nurturing, and handover processes across Marketing and Sales

Requirements

Proven experience leading B2B SaaS and digital sales teams Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools to manage funnels, monitor conversion rates and improve forecasting accuracy Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows to enhance team productivity, execution quality, and commercial outcomes Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven approach Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Reports to: Commercial Director Direct Reports: SMBs Team leader and Partners Team Leader Salary range: 60,000€ yearly gross.
