About The Role We are looking for an
Internal Sales Specialist
in our
PC Business Unit . The person will be experienced in building excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge. The internal Sales Specialist will be experienced in generating new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and in having a general conversation around a solution/product area, always in the direction of achieving monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
Proactively manage the customers lifecycle
Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
Engage in active inside selling by using a number of different sources to gain information on customers and utilise this to maximise call potential and outcomes
Manage customer backorder and report along specialist knowledge
Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions
Drive sales of specific products/vendors if specific knowledge is required, collaborating with colleagues and General Sales Force
Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience
Numerate with good attention to detail
Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills
Priority management and planning skills
Strive to achieve set targets
Understands sales process
Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM
IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential; passion for IT is a plus
