Role description


The SAP PP Consultant supports the Production Units in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, India, and Italy with SAP implementations and continuous improvements.

The role is responsible for providing second- and third-level support for the SAP Production Planning for Process Industries module (PP/PI), supporting SAP rollout projects, and ensuring template adherence across all business processes. It also involves collecting business requirements, translating them into SAP RfCs, and analyzing, developing, and testing requested system changes.

The position requires strong SAP expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work in an international IT environment.


The SAP PP Consultant is a full-time (100%) position.


Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Provides second- and third-level support for the SAP Production Planning for Process Industries module (PP/PI).
  • Analyzes and resolves bugs in production SAP environments.
  • Supports country rollouts of SAP projects.
  • Collects business requirements and translates them into SAP RfCs.
  • Analyzes, develops, and tests requests for change from the business.
  • Ensures overall template adherence across all countries and business processes.


Qualifications and experience


Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field (3-5 years degree).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP ECC ERP 6.0, particularly in Production Planning for Process Industries (PP/PI), Warehouse Management (WM), and Quality Management (QM).
  • Experience with integration to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Experience with integration to Warehouse Management Systems such as Promag.
  • Experience in ABAP programming.
  • Experience in international IT environments.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written).


Preferred

  • Experience with other SAP modules such as MM and SD.
  • Fluent in German or Italian (both verbal and written) is an asset.
