Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

We are working with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing a major greenfield S/4HANA transformation programme. This is a rare opportunity to join a multi-year global initiative at an early stage, shaping the future of SAP across international operations.

This role requires relocation to Italy, with a comprehensive relocation package fully funded by the client.

The Role

As a Senior SAP SD Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering and optimising Sales & Distribution processes within a large-scale S/4HANA rollout. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring global standardisation while accommodating local market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a core member of the global SAP SD workstream within a greenfield S/4HANA transformation
• Lead end-to-end SAP SD design, configuration, and implementation activities
• Drive the development of a global template, ensuring alignment with regional and local business needs
• Translate business requirements into scalable, compliant SAP SD solutions
• Serve as the key interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators
• Oversee testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and support successful deployments
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain functional documentation and process designs

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in SAP SD configuration and full lifecycle implementations
• Prior involvement in S/4HANA programmes (ideally greenfield or large transformations)
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash and supply chain processes
• Experience working in global, multi-country environments
• Ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
