Experteer OverviewAs an SAP Functional Analyst focused on Sales & Distribution, you’ll bridge business needs and SAP solutions within ABB’s Italian cluster. You will drive SD and O2C process design, documentation, and optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective changes. You’ll lead testing, UAT, and SOX-aligned operations support, delivering scalable, compliant SAP functionality. This role offers meaningful impact across regions with hybrid work and a strong emphasis on continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from local stakeholders and ABB Group; translate needs into SAP solutions Design, optimize, and support SAP SD and O2C processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives Create and maintain process documentation, blueprints, and functional specs; collaborate with development teams Act as SAP SD SME; support integrations and guide stakeholders during project delivery Plan, execute, and support functional testing and UAT for system changes Support SAP operations through incident resolution, process improvement, and SOX compliance Design and assist development of business processes; manage deliverables and build strong business relationships Collaborate with business to provide the best solutions and balance multiple priorities Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems or related field; at least 5 years as SAP SD Functional Analyst Strong SAP SD expertise with knowledge of integration with Logistics and Production modules Understanding of sales, distribution, and logistics in a manufacturing context; experience in ABB-like environments a plus Familiar with query design and basic ABAP debugging; SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and with teams; proactive in continuous improvement Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; occasional travel Fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken Benefits / Perks
