Scada Engineer

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a SCADA Engineer in Milan for one of our top clients.

With a large digital transformation already starting in the Group, we aim to implement and integrate new complex interfaces, upgrade their systems and technical tools.

The SCADA Engineer is responsible for the L1 and L2 support / maintenance of LV SCADA software and its integration to support the efficient operation of LV Power network.

Responsibility for the role:

• SCADA Software installation / Upgrade in the quality and production environment as needed
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize system performance and reliability
• Update the existing documentation for any change happened in the field
• Software configuration
• Software parametrization
• Application monitoring (including the provision of the monitoring software)

Requirements:

• Italian and English communication proficiency.
• Proven experience in Scada application support and maintenance
• Familiarity of LV substation infrastructure / equipment and its operations troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Good understanding of electrical industry data protocols and systems
• knowledge of Oracle Database, of ticketing system on JIRA preferred

Advantages:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer science or a related field.
• Change Management experience like Jira to manage the whole SDLC and GitHub
