Overview
As Scientific Relations Manager, you will build trusted partnerships with key external experts and healthcare professionals, delivering high-quality scientific information to support patient care. You’ll shape medical strategy with clinical insights and lead local medical plan execution 50% from the back office, collaborating with HEOR, Commercial, and Market Access teams. You’ll engage scientists at national and international meetings and train internal teams to expand therapy‑area knowledge. This role blends science, strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration to impact patient outcomes. Benefits
Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with KEEs, researchers and healthcare professionals Provide accurate, balanced, evidence‑based scientific support to healthcare professionals Outdoor focus on 50% of time to foster and develop KEEs relationships, engage in research, and capture insights and needs of the clinical community Build internal therapy‑area/product knowledge and deliver scientific training to internal teams Share field insights to inform medical and business strategies Implement local medical strategy and plan, executing value‑added projects (advisory boards, medical education, local studies, innovative patient solutions) Represent Kyowa Kirin at national and international scientific meetings and congresses Responsibilities
Relevant medical/pharmacy/nursing/bioscience background degree Previous 2 years field experience in Medical department of pharmaceutical industry, ideally in an MSL or medical advisor role Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical practice Experience working cross‑functionally in a dynamic environment Experience in project management Fluent in the local language and proficient in English Comfortable using digital engagement platforms and virtual communication tools Traveling in territory Driving — must hold valid driving licence
